Volunteer

Here at The Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse our mission is to end child abuse in the Mid-Hudson Valley Region. One way to help is by becoming an intern or volunteer at our agency!

Programs to intern or volunteer for:

• Personal Safety Program – Teaching school-aged children about personal safety and safe touch. We go into local schools and do puppet shows along with videos for older grades.
• Supportive Parenting Program – A parenting program for parents who have various special needs. Program holds weekly classes at a slower pace and throws in the concept of case management.
• Community Engagement – Working with the Development team on connecting with the community by creating fundraising events and meeting different community connections.
